Blog #5 Evernote

I have chosen Evernote for the class’s wiki page. We live in the world of internet, with a lot of people always connected to the Internet. People are getting involved with whatever useful technology they get introduced to, like email, sharing videos, photos, music, watching or reading news and managing their finances.

A lot of people nowadays have some shared information between their devices like their computer and their smart phone so they can access their information anytime.
Evernote is one of the powerful tools for an everyday use. It gives us the ability to share almost any information across our devices. Evernote is great for a sharing a lot of things especially photos, videos, audio and notes. Not only that we can share all these things across our devices, but we can also share what we want with whoever we want and stop sharing whenever we want, and the only thing we need to is an Internet connection and a computer, smartphone or a tablet.
A great example is when someone writes a document on his or her computer, and whenever he or she needed this information while outside the house, Evernote will give the opportunity to access the document on any smartphone, tablet or other computers.

With over 100 million users, more people rely and trust Evernote more than any other competitors.

  1. Mohammed,
Evernote seems like it has the same ideas as Google Hangout which is what I choose. I like the fact that people can create their own calendar in Evernote. As i was looking into it I noticed that it charges $10.00 a month. Is there a trial period that goes along with this? I like all the ideas that go along with it and I am excited to see all that you share.

    1. Hello Tiffanie

Evernote is free, however, you can upgrade your account to premium account and get more features for $5.00 a month or $45.00 a year.

Some of these features: extra single note size, the use of ANY type of file and hide the promotions.

I just wanted to give the general idea of Evernote in this blog and keep the details for the wiki page.

      Thank you

  3. Thanks for including the video. I didn't know anything about Evernote. This is great. I try to use my Google Drive for this type of stuff. However, sometimes I've had problems accessing stuff. I like the idea that you can sync your devices and have things available in one location.

  4. Evernote looks like it has some great features however I am not a big fan of pay sites. $10 seems high considering that there are other technologies out there that are similar and are free.
